Some time ago, Absolut was taking outside submissions for art, and I came up with this idea. 'Course, it took me 4 years to finish it...because I couldn't find the right font to put on the bottle, and the project was forgotten while others came and went. Now I finally finish it and, wouldn't you know, Absolut stopped taking submissions. Not to mention, this would involve a LOT of work before I was truly satisfied with it to submit it. For starters, that snake looks like a piece of green tire tread.
Bottle n' apple modeled in Lightwave. Snake is Poser. Rendered all in Bryce 3D. Post work finished in Photoshop.
Oh, believe me, nothing about Lightwave came to me intuitively. I read a book on it. And then I got a degree in it. And even then, I've still never had the patience to actually do any animating with it. Sadly, it's the least complicated 3D animation program I've ever looked at, too. Gah... Think I'll stick to pencil and paper~
Thanks~
